Back in January we were celebrating Dr. King’s birthday. We were talking about why we had the day off from school. So to commemorate the event we decided to use our Harvest of the Month kale chips as the focal point.


East Avenue Students in Room 23 Introduced to freshly Cooked Brussels Sprouts for Snack

At East Avenue, 1st grade students participated in washing, seasoning and cooking freshly cut up Brussels Sprouts for snack time. Students tasted raw leafs before cooking and also roasted sprouts after cooking. They absolutely loved them both.
